Padma Kanya Multiple Campus, Bagbazaar
Saugat Arts Nepal proudly collaborated with Kathmandu Metropolitan City to execute a vibrant public-art initiative on the outer walls of Padma Kanya Multiple Campus, Bagbazaar. This project aimed to uplift the visual environment of a key educational and public space through culturally meaningful mural artworks.
Project Overview
The initiative began with a shared vision to bring creativity, color, and cultural storytelling into the heart of the city. Our team at Saugat Arts Nepal approached the project with high spirit, strong teamwork, and full professionalism—from initial planning to the final completion. The selected walls of Padma Kanya Campus were assessed, prepared, and converted into canvases ready to host impactful artwork.
Themes & Artistic Approach
The murals created for this site reflect Nepal’s cultural diversity, women’s empowerment, unity, and the evolving identity of Kathmandu. Each design was carefully developed to resonate with the environment of an academic institution, while also adding warmth, vibrancy, and inspiration to the surrounding community.
Execution & Process
Working with dedication and artistic precision, our team carried out concept sketching, wall preparation, layering, detailing, and finishing with utmost care. Throughout the project, Saugat Arts Nepal maintained a high level of discipline, creativity, and commitment—ensuring that every stroke contributed to a meaningful transformation of the space.
Impact
The completed mural has given new life to the campus surroundings, turning once plain walls into a cultural attraction. This project stands as a proud contribution to KMC’s beautification campaign and demonstrates how public art can inspire residents, students, and passersby while enriching Kathmandu’s urban landscape.
